Ballet Flat Recital

Inspired by a friend that liked the twisted flats we wrote about last Wednesday in our midweek fix who was unable to find them in her size, I went looking for some cute flats for her and a couple of other Sequins fans who have told me how much they'd like to see flats. Since it has been a few months since our last post on flats, it seemed a good time to post an update for this season.

TWEEDS

Last year J.Crew sold this amazing pair of tweed ballet flats that I absolutely love.  They have been such a perfect addition to my wardrobe that I was ecstatic when I heard that tweeds were in again.  While I have no problem with classics, like a tweed dress, suit or pair of slacks, I believe a little unexpected bit of tweed in an accessory is the perfect way to bring excitement to any outfit.  The following pieces combat the myth that tweed is a stodgy fabric.
